The was advised today, 09/20/19, by
the Northeast Mosquito Control District that this week’s mosquito testing in
Manchester was negative for both Eastern Equine Encephalitis and the West Nile
Virus. Manchester remains at the moderate risk level, which
means no heightened actions are necessary. Testing, including expanded
collection sites, will continue through mid-October.
The Board of Health and the Mosquito Control District recommend that residents continue to use mosquito repellent until such time as we have had a hard frost.
