Robotics Team Visits Applied Materials

Thanks to Mrs. Cristoforo, the High School Robotics team spent last Wednesday afternoon at Applied Materials in Gloucester learning how robotics applies to the manufacture of the chips used in our smartphones and many other electronic devices. 

The team was treated to lunch and a presentation and tour of the plant.  At least a dozen employees ranging from mechanical engineers to sales department heads talked with the students about their own careers and how they ended up at Applied Materials.
