The annual MERSD Special Education Parent Rights Workshop is
scheduled on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Essex
Elementary School cafeteria. This
training provides an overview of parent roles, rights, and responsibilities
under special education law. All parents
are welcome. The speaker is Karla
Murphy. Karla has worked as a special education
parent advocate for many years and currently serves as Director of North Shore
Advocacy Services.
