MERMHS Welcomes Rachel's Challenge on September 22nd!

Thanks to the generous support of the Spaulding Education Fund and PMEMS, on Monday, September 22nd, Manchester-Essex Regional Middle and High Schools will participate in the Rachel’s Challenge program. This nationally-renowned organization works with elementary, middle and high schools across the country to promote their anti-bullying mission: Building a chain of kindness.  Middle School students will have an all-school assembly at 8am; High School students will have an all-school assembly at 9:30am. In the afternoon, student leaders will work with the organization to be trained in sustaining a chain of kindness.  The day will conclude with an evening parent/guardian work-shop at 7:00pm in the MERMHS Auditorium. It is free of charge and open to the public.

MERSD Core Value – Whole Child Education:  We believe schools must establish a safe environment conducive to the development of the whole child, which extends beyond the academic core to include experiential learning, the arts, cultural awareness, and physical and emotional well-being.

Whole Child Tenet - Safe:  Each student learns in an environment that is physically and emotionally safe for students and adults.
