Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology Search

I am excited to announce that MERSD has launched its search for our next Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology!  The Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology provides focused leadership in the development and implementation of the school system’s educational programs.  As the chief academic officer, the Director of Curriculum & Instructional technology plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and fulfillment of MERSD’s Strategic Plan, improvement goals, and initiatives.  Primary responsibilities include administering all aspects of the curriculum, instruction, and assessment programs; supervising, analyzing, and reporting all system-wide and state accountability measures; developing and administering the program development budget including preparing and coordinating grants related to curriculum, instruction, and instructional technology; facilitating the integration of instructional technology; and overseeing the district’s professional development program.

How to Get Involved

Search Committee:  If you are interested in serving on the search committee, please email Amy LeJeune (lejeunea@mersd.org) for details about the schedule and time commitments and to indicate your interest in volunteering.  Please know that if we have more volunteers than the available seats on the committee participants will be chosen by lottery.

The Essex Elementary Search timeline will be announced in late February and follow a similar process including opportunities for the EES community to provide feedback.   This is an exciting time for MERSD, and I hope you will consider lending your voice to the process of filling two key leadership roles in our district.
