Dear MERSD Families,
We would like to say hello and let you know that we have been missing all of our MERSD families since the abrupt departure from school last March. As we enter this new and very different year, we
want to reach out and keep the communication open.
Although the students are not in our schools at this time, we
want to make sure we are doing all we can to limit the effects of this pandemic
within our own communities. It is
essential to continue practicing the behaviors below to protect yourself and others
from exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
Please remind your children to

Practice social distancing whenever possible
·
Wear masks at all times in public and when a 6
foot distance cannot be maintained
·
Wash your hands often with soap and water
·
Use hand sanitizer when soap and water is not
available
·
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with
unwashed hands
These habits will continue to reduce transmission of the
COVID-19 virus and will be essential for our eventual return to the physical
classroom. Thank you for your consideration.
