SoundWaves bring cheer and
spirit to the Ledge wood Rehabilitation Facility in Beverly. They
performed their full set in the lobby and then went to all the floors and
outside all the rooms. The residents loved them and joined them in
singing and a few even moved or danced along with them. The students were
so happy and touched by the joy they were bringing to the residents. From
one student “this was the best day I’ve ever had.” They
shared
their gift of music and kindness is a way that was very special and meaningful
to those who so much appreciated it. I could not have been more proud or
feel more fortunate to work with these generous, talented, good
hearted-students. This is the seventh year of our annual
tradition to end the holiday season with this performance before the break.
They spent over an hour and ½ performing and interacting with the residents.
