Senior Eve Feuerbach has been working on her Green Team project to raise awareness of the problem in our society with single-use plastic. She wanted to use Art as a vehicle to increase awareness in the school. Her desire to make an artistic statement was realized this week outside of the Learning Commons. Eve has been collecting water bottles that were discarded in the trash, as opposed to being properly recycled. She has created a wall of plastic in an area that all students and staff can observe, and reflect on their use of plastic water bottles. Additionally, many Green Team students wanted to add to the project. They made various fish, turtles and jellyfish to better portray the impact plastic has on our ocean.
