Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology Search Complete!

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Julie DeRoche will be joining the MERSD Leadership Team as our new Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology.  Julie distinguished herself throughout the interview process as an experienced educator who has a vision for balancing whole child needs with a rigorous academic program.  Her knowledge and experience in the areas of English Language Arts, STEM and Creativity and Innovation will be an asset to MERSD as we continue to build our program and to pursue our goal of reaching all learners by providing individualized pathways to success. Throughout the process Julie impressed me with her intellect, professionalism, and knowledge of curriculum and instructional technology.  She will bring to MERSD a collaborative approach and proven track record in instructional leadership as well as a vision of excellence, child-centeredness and continual improvement.   I am confident she will be an asset to our district.
