Welcome Back!

Welcome Back Everyone -  Life has returned to campus!   

Although classes weren't in session over the summer, it was a busy on campus. Hats off to the custodial, central office, and tech staff who worked hard during the summer months preparing the schools for the year ahead. Thanks to their efforts the schools were in great shape for the opening. 

I'm pleased to report that it has been a very smooth start to the year.  Last week teachers spent time getting students settled and prepared to hit the ground running when they return from the long weekend.  This week we will return to our regular schedules, both in and out of the classrooms.  Please visit our How To Stay Informed page to learn about the many ways we communicate school and district happenings.  MERSD Weekly will be back up this week with a Wednesday publishing schedule.      

It's going to be anoth great year for MERSD.  I look forward to seeing you all around campus!
