MERHS Drama Guild Heads to DramaFest Finals

Although student achievement is frequently measured by test scores, it is important to remember that good portion of our curriculum is measured by authentic performance.  Through our commitment to the whole child we strive to provide each student in our school with access to a range of options and choices for a wide array of extracurricular and co-curricular activities that reflect student interests, goals, and learning profiles.  The MERSD community has a strong tradition of providing opportunities for and supporting students interested in the performing arts.  From Summer Stage to the MERHS Theater Guild to the annual Night of Stars Spaulding fundraiser, students interested in the performing arts are encouraged to follow their passion.

Evidence of the quality of our programs and talent of our students is found in the distinguished record of our MERHS Drama Guild, who, again this year, will be performing at the finals of the MA DramaFest.

Congratulations to the MERHS cast & crew of "WASP," whose performance was selected from 114 schools to move on to the MA DramaFest finals that will be held at the John Hancock Theater in Boston on March 21, 22 & 23.  MERHS performs Friday night March 22nd at 9:15.
